La Passerelle des Trois Pays: between France, Germany and Switzerland!
The bridge of the Three Countries is an original bridge located in Huningue, in the south of Alsace. It crosses the Rhine and connects France to Germany.
Why three countries then? From the bridge, you can see Germany on one side, France on the other and Switzerland on the other! It is also easy to reach Switzerland once you have passed the German side.
The view on the Rhine is quite industrial, but the place is still nice. The architecture of the bridge is interesting and I think it’s nice to be able to go for a bite to eat or a beer in Germany in 5 minutes on foot if we feel like it! For shopping enthusiasts, the Weil-am-Rhein Center should also appeal to you.

Access
By car
The bridge of the three countries is located in the extension of the rue de France in Huningue. It is located at:
- 36 km from Mulhouse (about 40 minutes)
- 63 km from Colmar (about 50 minutes)
- 137 km from Strasbourg (about 1h30)
By public transport
It is not very convenient to reach Huningue by public transport. You have to stop in Saint-Louis and then walk. To make an itinerary, go to Vialsace.
