Do you want to learn how to make beautiful Advent wreaths by yourself? I have just the thing for you: a Christmas wreath workshop organised by Sylvie, the florist from Brindille et pom de pin in Kaysersberg. Whether it is a wreath to hang to your door or to put on the table, Sylvie will guide you step-by-step to make one. It’s perfect to get into Christmas mood!
Making an Advent wreath starts with manufacturing the wreath base. You will use a straw base and wire to tie fir branches, moss or leaves to make up the wreath base. You have to be careful and be quite regular in your work to get a pretty wreath! Thankfully, Sylvie will correct all small defects.
It is then time to decorate. Sylvie will then take out countless boxes, with prettier and prettier decorations: oranges, cinnamon, pine cones, colorful ribbons, Christmas tree bulbs, small wooden or felt figurines sticks, candlesticks… You will suddenly find yourself in a treasure trove! The most difficult is to choose between all these beautiful objects to decorate your Christmas wreath. You will do some tests, feel like you will never manage to get a nice result, but in the end you will make it. Only a little bit of glue on each decoration and you are done!
I really had a good time during this workshop. The atmosphere is quite nice and making wreath is very fun and relaxing. It is also very nice to leave (proudly) with an Advent wreath you made yourself!
