Festival Décibulles (Neuve-Église) – THE favorite!
Tested and approved by Jessy – Décibulles is a festival worth visiting in Alsace! It is THE reference of the Alsatian festivals, with a real festival atmosphere as you can find elsewhere (where you camp on the spot, you go to bed at 4am after having partied with all the festival-goers… Well, you can imagine! 😉 ). Since 1992, it is not far from 20 000 people each year who mobilize during 3 days, in Neuve-Église, in the Bas-Rhin, to listen to groups of current music, about twenty in total. On the program, national and international headliners as well as bands from the local scene.
On site, there are drink stands with no less than 36 craft and world beers. Moreover, the softs are only elaborated in Alsace. Les Jardins de Gaia, for example, have a stand where you can taste their organic and fair trade teas. One of the big positive points of this festival is also its commitment to sustainable development. The association Décibulles tries to reduce its impact on the environment through multiple actions: distribution of pocket ashtrays, sorting station, bioplastic cups…
In summary, the atmosphere is relaxed, the campsite is very lively and the products are of high quality. Add some good music and friends and you have everything you need to have a great weekend!

Alsace Wine Fair (Colmar) – An explosive mix!
Tested and approved by Jessy – The Alsace Wine Fair, which has been held since 1927 at the Parc des Expositions in Colmar, welcomes 200,000 people each year, including 70,000 festival-goers, and lasts 10 days. It is a trade fair and a wine showcase, but above all, it is a musical festival that brings together nationally and even internationally renowned performers every year. A rather eclectic mix but very nice!
In the fair, you will find a considerable variety of local products (and wines from Alsace of course!) and stands of all kinds (from swimming pools to sofas, vehicles and… wine!). The festival receives every evening artists and groups for concerts and theme nights (Nuit Blanche and Hard Rock Session). A great place to party with your friends, all generations meet there!

Pelpass Festival (Strasbourg) – The meeting place for young people in Strasbourg
Tested and approved by Jessy – The new guy! Having celebrated its first edition in 2017. The Pelpass outdoor festival, which takes place at the Jardin des Deux Rives, has become the rendezvous of Strasbourg’s youth. Gathering annually more than 30 musicians on three different stages, the Pelpass Festival offers an eclectic program combining rap, rock and electronic music!
On the spot, the atmosphere is festive and there are some food and drink stands where Alsatian draft beers are sold. The entrance fee is affordable (especially since there are interesting prices for culture card holders!) and the camping costs only 1 euro. With its ideal location and its really lively atmosphere, it is a must in Strasbourg ! Good to know, the Pelpass association has also created a game center to animate the campsites of other Alsatian festivals.

NL Contest (Strasbourg) – Long live urban cultures!
Tested and approved by Jessy – The NL Contest is the International Festival of Urban Cultures of Strasbourg. It is held every year in May and brings together more than 30,000 people! Rollerblading, skateboarding, bmx, freestyle scooter and breakdance competitions are organized at the skate park of La Rotonde. The festival, with its strong reputation, attracts many professional athletes who make the trip each year to participate in the events, which are even open to the public.
A few concerts are scheduled during the gathering and several food stands are present for the hungry! The prices are relatively low compared to other festivals and the activities available allow young and old alike to have fun all day long and to show the true face of urban culture! The organizers (association Nouvelle Ligne) also present an OFF during two months, following the NL Contest, in order to propose different formats of events (exhibitions, parties, performances…). Very interesting!
