The Villa Louisental is a large group lodging located in the village of Hohwald in Alsace. This mansion from 1928 can accommodate a total of 15 people in 7 different rooms. It is a very nice and comfortable house with a large living-dining room (with a huge table to take meals together and a fireplace), a large fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms, 7 bedrooms and a second living-kitchen area. I went there for a weekend with a large group of friends and the house was really perfect for that, very well laid out and equipped. In summer, you can also enjoy its terrace and its large garden. I really recommend it if you are looking for a great gîte in Alsace!
The village of Hohwald is a pretty little village in the Alsatian part of the Vosges mountains, not far from the Champ du Feu ski resort. It’s a very quiet place, perfect to cut yourself off from the urban agitation. The location is rather convenient, we have an easy access to the nature which allows to make for example snowshoeing or skiing in winter and beautiful hikes or cycling in summer. The Mont Sainte-Odile is not far either.

- The house being old, there are strict ventilation rules to respect! But nothing serious 🙂
