Un Soir d’Eté is two guest rooms and a studio located in Ernolsheim-Bruche, near Strasbourg and close to the beginning of the Alsace Wine Route. All 3 are named after architects: Bertoïa, Rietveld and Le Corbusier.

What convinced me to stop there for a night in love, it is first of all the charming and finally exotic side of this old Alsatian farm of the 18th century on the outside, combined with a very “vintage” decorationon the inside.

I chose the Rietveld room, inspired by Mondrian’s colors, because I like Mondrian’s colors and I found it particularly romantic with its open room on the bathroom: not intimate, abstain! And to keep all the charm of this romantic moment (haha), the toilets are located on the lower floor, where the entrance of the room is also found.

Nathalie, the owner of the place who lives in the other wing of the farm, loves bargain and it shows everywhere, in the rooms as well as in the inner courtyard: we stop to observe the numerous details such as the robots from the 80’s, the record player, the mirrors, the paintings and other works of different styles. A surprising junk that has excited us!

In the morning, the breakfast is simple but greedy with local products (bread, cheeses), home-made jams and organic products. Nathalie also offers a Finnish sauna, yoga sessions and Ayurvedic massages.

In short, a nice guest room, in a timeless atmosphere for vintage lovers and lovers!
