Hotel du Parc is a 4* hotel located in Obernai, a small charming Alsatian town, between Sélestat and Strasbourg. It is located in a beautiful Alsatian half-timbered building and is also known for its incredible Yonaguni spa, a 2500 m2 spa that won the award of Best Luxury Spa in Europe. It is one of the best hotels in Obernai in my opinion!

With the good plan of the “Stay” formula of the Etoiles d’Alsace, we were able to enjoy an executive room as lovers. The decor is chic and classic. Each room is different with small touches sometimes mixed Alsatian, Asian or art deco. Precisely, our room was in this last style, with a magnificent marquetry in headboard, glass lamps, a leather armchair…

One hotel, two spas

We also enjoyed the beautiful Asiane spa with its indoor pool (also open to children under 16 until 3pm for accompanied lovers), individual steam rooms and an infrared sauna (without textile…).

I especially noticed its beautiful Asian-style wooden door (but I didn’t ask if it was original) and the individual bubbling baths with scented essences… This spa is for hotel residents only, while the Yonaguni is open to residents and non-residents. The best is to test both if you stay at the Hotel du Parc 🙂

Breakfast at the Hotel du Parc

The breakfast is certainly the most diversified I have ever tasted in a hotel. It is pantagruelic: several buffets are distributed in the room and there is also a self-service for hot dishes. Strangely enough, we were almost embarrassed in front of all this profusion of food!

As a bonus, you can also (for an additional fee) enjoy the hotel’s other award-winning spa, Yonaguni spa!

I liked

  • Charm of the decoration
  • Incredible breakfast
  • Beautiful spa

I liked less

  • Nothing!
