The Paradis des Sources is a cabaret located in Alsace, in the village of Soultzmatt, on the Alsace Wine Route. It’s a little bit lost in which you don’t expect to find a music hall at all. And yet, the Paradis des Sources is an institution in the region. You can come with your company, as a couple or with friends to attend the cabaret shows. During the Belle Epoque, Soultzmatt was nicknamed “Le Petit Paris” and it is this image that the Paradis des Sources has set out to give us.

The evening at the Paradis des Sources starts with dinner (it is also possible during lunch), accompanied by a first part of the show: magicians, singers and various animations (of which a very amusing Elsass Cancan) distract you pleasantly. For the meal, various formulas are proposed, from 50€ to 137€ (show included). I tried the Delicious Menu, which was overall not bad even if the quality-price ratio is not exceptional. I was actually expecting less good in such a place, but was rather pleasantly surprised. As for the service, everything is perfectly oiled and the staff very pleasant.

The revue starts after dinner: let’s go for more than 2 hours of show, which really plunges you into thecabaret atmosphere with its lot of extravagance, colors, feathers and perfect bodies! Dance, ballet, great illusions, visual attractions, circus acts, humor, sumptuous costumes and songs make the magic of this cabaret in Alsace.

The magazine presented changes every year. I went twice to the Paradis des Sources and could attend two quite different shows, the second one being very much focused on dance while the first one was more dance and acrobatics. I had preferred the latter, but it is very personal. In both cases, the show was of high quality. I recommend it if you like cabarets and music-hall!

After the show, it is possible to take pictures with the showgirl and then continue the evening by dancing in a dedicated room. You’re not going to bed anytime soon! 😉
