Let me introduce you to the 6717 Nature Hôtel Spa in Ottrott, a very well renovated establishment, directly in the selection of beautiful Alsatian spa hotels for its value for money.

After enjoying a glass of the atypical Alsatian red wine “Le rouge d’Ottrott” (in moderation), take time out for a wellness break at the foot of Mont Sainte-Odile, whether you’re coming from far or near like me!

I’m always on the lookout for an enchanted interlude, and this establishment, formerly known as “Le clos des délices”, intrigued me between a small road and a rocky outcrop. I had to give it a chance, and I wasn’t disappointed.

The spa at 6717

The establishment respects all the codes of the contemporary nature spa, without being overly large. It features an indoor pool with an outdoor opening, a garden-level outdoor pool, self-activating bubbles, a sauna with a beautiful view of the forest and a snow fountain.

I fell in love with the hammam, which is really big, warm, humid as it should be (it’s quite rare), with beautiful alcoves and even a secret aquatic passage that I won’t reveal to you. My companion literally adored the surprising sensory journey between moss and thunder: here again, I won’t tell you more, so as not to spoil the surprise.

However, I would warn you to go upstairs to discover the roof-top Jacuzzi and go down to the first floor to make sure you don’t miss out on the salt grotto, a lovely rest room and an unusual painting exhibition room that broadcasts yoga classes, a must-try! To relax your tummy in a different way, you can also take advantage of our tea time package : with every drink purchased, a pastry of your choice is offered.

The hotel-restaurant

Speaking of gourmet delights, get ready to feast at the restaurant for dinner. After settling into a perfectly decent room (I stayed with the entry-level model), it was really a pleasant surprise.

The catering area boasts an elegant decor and a beautiful view of a landscaped waterfall, perfect for a cocktail party. The cuisine is refined to the eye and taste, and a delight to behold. Let yourself be surprised by the chef’s suggestions.

Before hitting the road again, be sure to take the short walk around the grounds, following the red signs: it’s a very pleasant addition, in the German spirit, with antique benches, animals and varied landscapes.

And if, like me, you find the numbered name a little strange, you should know that it’s simply 67 for the department and 17 for the street number… And your code for getting back to well-being!
