We are lucky to have many spas in Alsace. I don’t know if this is due to the German influence, where wellness is quite important and where there are many spas and thermal baths, but we can only be happy about it, especially since we really have spas of a very high levelThe quality of these products continues to improve. We have several establishments in the region that have won awards from the best spas in Europe and the world! Yes, that’s right! To help you make your choice, here are our favorite spa addresses in Alsace, where you can spend a few hours, a day or a weekend! We add addresses as we discover them, when we feel that they deserve their place among the best spas in Alsace.

Hotel Spa in Alsace (with Day spa)

Here are the spa hotels in Alsace to start with. You can of course stay there for a wellness stay, but these hotels also offer Day Spa packages allowing you to enjoy the spa for the day without staying at the hotel. I advise you to book these establishments well in advance, as they are very popular, especially at weekends!

You can usually take advantage of theaccess to the spa (including for example hot tubs, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, sensation showers, swimming pool, salt grotto, ice fountain, saunas, rest room and fitness room…) but also book care such as massages, facials, body treatments…

Nature Spa de La Cheneudière, one of the best spas in Alsace!

I’m starting this article with my favorite spa, the Nature Spa at Hostellerie La Cheneaudière in Colroy-la-Roche, in the Bruche Valley. This huge 2,500m2 spa has won numerous awards for the best spas in the world (including the best hotel spa in Europe) and it must be said that the Nature Spa is a real cocoon that allows you to disconnect and forget all the worries of everyday life…

Yonaguni Spa, the luxury Japanese spa in Obernai

The Yonaguni Spa, located in the Hôtel du Parc in Obernai, is an invitation to discovery and well-being. It’s also one of my favorite spas, and I’m not the only one as it has been awarded the best luxury spa in France and the best unique experience spa in the world.

For an exceptional moment of relaxation, here is another excellent address: the spa of the Source des Sens, located in Morsbronn-les-Bains in the north of Alsace. It is not as big as the two previous ones but just as qualitative: it is really one of the beautiful spas of the region!

Several packages are available, with half-day or full-day access to the spa.

Other spas to relax in Alsace

Here are some other good spa addresses in Alsace. They are not hotels and the packages offered for access to the spa often range from a few hours to a day. It’s a little more à la carte than a day spa, and less expensive too 😉

Resort Barrière de Ribeauvillé, a spa and balneo center

The Ribeauvillé Barrière Resort is one of the most popular day spas in Alsace. Two areas await you: a balneo area and a spa area where you can book treatments and massages. A beautiful place where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Alsatian vineyards and at a very reasonable price!

If you want to make an unusual spa in Strasbourg, go to Taaka Beer Spa, an original spa because it is a beer spa (I reassure you, you will not bathe in beer but in a bath with hops, yeast and malt)! You can reserve a 1 hour or 1h30 slot for relaxation.

Sulzbad, a thermal spa in Alsace

Need to relax? The Sulzbad is an intimate thermal spa located in Wolxheim, north of the Alsace Wine Route and only 25 minutes from Strasbourg. You will enjoy the benefits of the thermal water of the Saint-Amand spring, rich in minerals and trace elements.

Woodness Spa, a private spa in Alsace

Looking for a romantic moment or an afternoon with friends? The Woodness Spa is a beautiful wooden spa that can accommodate up to 6 people. We reserve it for a half-day and an evening and we take advantage of the privatization of the place! I must admit that it’s really nice to have a spa all to yourself!

What about the neighbors? Thermal baths and spas in Germany and Switzerland

Impossible to list them all, but in the team we have a soft spot for the following spas in Germany and Switzerland:
