La Clairière Spa is the spa of La Clairière Hotel, located in La Petite Pierre. I tested it during a stay in this hotel but the spa is open all day to outsiders. Different packages are available for the Day Spa: from a simple access to the spa to a package including the spa, treatments and a meal.

The spa of La Clairière is a very nice spa for a hotel but it is quite small compared to other spas in Alsace (we are lucky to have very nice and big ones!). It includes an aquatic area with a Jacuzzi, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool as well as a sauna area with two saunas, a steam room, a cold water bath, an ice fountain and a rest area. An infrared cabin is also available at an additional cost.

The place is pleasant because it has large windows overlooking the surrounding nature, particularly beautiful around the hotel. I enjoyed spending time in the hot tub while admiring the view outside! On the other hand, I had a bit of a cramped feeling in general: it was quite crowded when I was there and the spaces are all quite small.

Note that in some packages it is possible to have in addition some activities proposed by the hotel such as a session of yoga, Qi Gong or meditation. This can make for a full day of relaxation!

If you take a meal plan, you can try the La Clairière restaurant, which offers completely organic cuisine and has a completely vegetarian menu. The food is very good!

  • Large windows overlooking the surrounding nature
  • Very nice Jacuzzi
  • Organic food
  • Various activities outside the spa
  • Spaces a little small
  • Choice of “activities” reduced to the spa itself
  • A little expensive for the size of the spa

My photos of the Spa de La Clairière

Photos in spas are difficult, especially when there are many people… My photos do not pay any tribute to the place, which is much more beautiful in reality!
