Sole Uno is the name of the spa in Rheinfelden, Switzerland, near Basel. It is very easy to get there from Alsace.

The thermal water comes directly from the Rheinfleden-Riburg saltworks by pipeline and is reputed to offer numerous benefits for the skin, muscles, joints, blood circulation, etc.

The place is very pleasant. It includes an aquatic area (bathing suit mandatory), a sauna area (naturist, wearing a bathing suit is therefore prohibited) and a massage area. I stayed in the aquatic area, where there is already plenty to do. At the Sole Uno indoor and outdoor pools with jets, a salt water pool where you can float while listening to music played underwater, hot and cold water baths, hammams with various fragrances, alpine and tropical showers and finally a salt water inhalation grotto. What a great time!

  • The variety of baths offered
  • The water temperature in the large pools is just right
  • Open every day until 22:30. It is pleasant to spend an evening there.
  • More expensive than the thermal baths in Germany but it’s Switzerland!
  • Paid parking
