Christmas is coming, and with it the long and perilous race for Christmas presents. These are ideas of objects made in Alsace/nearby, stores where to find local creations or nice activities to do in the region.

Alsatrucs

Another idea, the Alsatrucs, which are objects created by various Alsatian craftsmen. The idea of these handcrafted creations is to be inspired by the Alsatian culture and traditions by revisiting them with a nice touch of modernity. I love them! Find Alsatrucs on their online store.

Régine’s workshop

Near my home, in the Kochersberg, in Fessenheim-le-Bas (about 15km from Strasbourg) is the store L’Atelier de Régine, which I love. Régine offers a great selection of products from local designers, and there are plenty of great ideas for Christmas gifts!

Beauvillé table linen

Beauvillé table linens are made in Ribeauvillé, on the Alsace Wine Route. The patterns are beautiful, varied and the fabrics of very high quality. You will find in the store tablecloths, tea towels, napkins, fabrics by the meter…All at a discounted price by going to the factory store!

Spa day

Offering a day at a spa is a great gift idea. We are lucky, we have very nice ones in Alsace! You will find here all my wellness ideas. My favorites are the Nature spa of La Cheneaudière, the Yonaguni Spa or La Source des Sens. Perfect for a wellness gift in Alsace!

Etoiles d’Alsace youth or senior formula

If you want to offer a gift to someone under 35 or over 60 years old, the Etoiles d’Alsace Young or Senior formula can be an excellent idea. They allow you to go to some of the best restaurants in Alsace at a reduced price. Several formulas are proposed: Master Craftsman, Winstub, Prestige and Excellence. You can order gift certificates directly online on the Etoiles d’Alsace website. For my part, I had tested this formula for my 30th birthday by going to the Auberge de l’Ill… And I guarantee that it is a memory that I will keep for the rest of my life!
