Spa de la Source des Sens in Morsbronn-les-Bains
The Spa of la Source des Sens is in my opinion one of the most beautiful spas in Alsace. It is smaller than the huge spas of La Cheneaudière or Chez Julien, but it already has a nice offer and proposes a day spa formula at a reasonable price considering the quality of what is proposed.
La Source des Sens is a hotel and restaurant (that I haven’t tested yet) located in Morsbronn-les-Bains, in the north of Alsace, about ten kilometers north of Haguenau. The spa is open to outsiders, who are offered different formulas: it is possible to opt for access to the spa alone, with different treatments, a lunch or a dinner… There is really a choice, everyone should be able to find something to suit them. I tested the access to the spa alone for an afternoon and came out perfectly relaxed.
The atmosphere at the Source des Sens is truly relaxing. The spa is recent and very aesthetic, decorated with natural materials and nature is well highlighted, both outside and through the windows. You feel good right away. Its size is also quite nice: it is somehow not too big, not too small! There are many things to do but you don’t get lost either.
I particularly liked the beautiful outdoor pool (with massage beds) and the rest room with its bubble chairs where it is nice to curl up with a book… The rest of the spa is also very nice and there are many different things to do: in addition to the outdoor pool and the relaxation room, the Spa de la Source des Sens It includes an indoor pool with various jets, a Jacuzzi, a sensory shower, a salt grotto, a foot bath, a Kneipp pool, an ice fountain as well as various saunas and hammams (the latter being naturist). There’s more than enough for a great afternoon!
It is of course possible to have one or more treatments such as massages, wraps or scrubs. The treatments are from the brands Thalgo and Cinq Mondes.
