5 star hotel in Strasbourg

Maison Rouge – 5-Star Luxury Hotel with Spa

📍 4 rue des Francs-Bourgeois, 67000 Strasbourg

The Maison Rouge Hotel is a Strasbourg institution, as it is one of the city’s oldest hotels. This 5-star hotel with a spa is ideally located in the heart of downtown, right next to Place Kléber, and decorated in an Art Deco style blended with traditional Alsatian elements. With its 150-square-meter spa featuring wine therapy, its bar, and its restaurant, it’s perfect for those who have something to celebrate and want to do so in a truly beautiful Strasbourg establishment! Ideal for a romantic wellness weekend…

4 star hotels in Strasbourg

Tandem Hotel – Eco-Friendly and Stylish

📍 2 Place de la Gare, 67000 Strasbourg

The Tandem hotel is an ecological hotel in Strasbourg, which proves that it is possible to combine respect for the environment, comfort and design! This ecological commitment is reflected in the cleaning products, the breakfast (home-made, organic and local products are waiting for you!) as well as in many small details. It’s located near the train station: not the sexiest part of town, but very well placed as it’s a stone’s throw from the station and Petite France, and the prices are reasonable: really good value for money!

Rohan Hotel in Strasbourg – A contemporary atmosphere in the heart of downtown

📍 17–19 rue du Maroquin, 67000 Strasbourg

The Hôtel Rohan in Strasbourg is a 4-star hotel located at the foot of the cathedral. It’s a beautiful place to stay and an ideal base for exploring the city! The hotel’s interior lives up to its façade, with tasteful, warm, and contemporary decor. The service is very pleasant as well. My only (minor) regret is that while the buffet is plentiful and appetizing, the quality of the food is a bit disappointing, even if it’s still decent (I’m a picky eater, after all!).

Boma Hotel – Ethnic-Chic Boutique Hotel

📍 5–7 Rue du 22 Novembre, 67000 Strasbourg

The Boma is a very nice hotel well located in the center of Strasbourg. The citizens of Strasbourg know it well because they come there easily to have a meal, to work during the day or to have a drink in the evening. Its ethnic chic decoration is really successful and contributes to the comfort and warm atmosphere of the establishment. A good address in the capital of Europe!

Hôtel des Haras – A charming hotel in the former National Stud Farm of Alsace

📍 23 rue des Glacières, 67000 Strasbourg

Les Haras is a 4 star hotel located in the buildings of the former National Stud in Strasbourg. The decoration is contemporary and elegant with some elements reminding the equestrian past of the place. As a bonus, the hotel has a beautiful spa created in partnership with the brand Nuxe, for those who love well-being. Also, don’t miss the award-winning, delicious restaurant at the Hotel Les Haras (one of my favorite restaurants in Strasbourg).

Cour du Corbeau Hotel (MGallery) – As Romantic as Can Be

📍 6–8 Rue des Couples, 67000 Strasbourg

The Hotel Cour du Corbeau is one of Strasbourg’s institutions. It is one of the oldest hotels in Europe! What makes it special? It is located in a sublime complex of buildings dating from the Renaissance: lovers of old architecture, this should please you! Very well located in the center of Strasbourg, it is a hotel with a really cosy and elegant atmosphere which has seen a lot of wedding proposals… 😉

Hannong Hotel – Hotel with a Rooftop

📍 15 Rue du 22 Novembre, 67000 Strasbourg

The Hannong Hotel is a 4-star hotel ideally located in the heart of Strasbourg’s Grande Île, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. It’s a charming place with a warm, inviting decor, and is also well-known among Strasbourg residents for its beautiful rooftop terrace and wine bar. Don’t miss it if you’re staying there!

Okko Hotel – On the André Malraux Peninsula

📍 46 rue du Bassin d’Austerlitz, 67100 Strasbourg

The Okko Hotel is located in a rather special place, since it is not in the city center of Strasbourg but not far from it (10 minutes on foot). It is located on the André Malraux peninsula, a place I like very much. Ideal for those who want a 4 star hotel a little less expensive than in the center, while enjoying good quality services, or simply those who like to discover neighborhoods a little more off the beaten path. In terms of decoration, the style of the establishment is sober and contemporary.

Graffalgar Hotel in Strasbourg – Urban Art and Great Value

📍 17 rue Déserte, 67000 Strasbourg

The Graffalgar Hotel in Strasbourg is a modern and innovative hotel located just 5 minutes from the train station. It’s not in the prettiest neighborhood, but it’s extremely convenient—just a stone’s throw from Petite France (and the train station, of course!). The concept? Each room has been decorated by a different local artist. The style is urban—it’s like having a piece of street art in every room! The hotel also regularly hosts exhibitions. More than just a hotel, the Graffalgar is a real hub of life that I love and visit often! As a bonus, the value for money is truly excellent.

Arok Hotel – Baroque Atmosphere

📍 7 Place de la Gare, 67000 Strasbourg

Another hotel located just in front of the train station: it’s not the most beautiful area but it’s very convenient because you can get to the train station in two minutes while being very close to the city center (Petite France is only 5 minutes away on foot). Hotel Arok is an excellent choice, it is comfortable and has a very nice baroque decoration, all for a reasonable price.

Hôtel Suisse in Strasbourg – A traditional atmosphere at the foot of the cathedral

📍 2–4 Rue de la Râpe, 67000 Strasbourg

The Hôtel Suisse de Strasbourg is a three-star hotel located in downtown Strasbourg, right next to the cathedral. The rooms (which are quite spacious) are decorated in a traditional Alsatian style, featuring wood and kelsch (checkered fabrics). It will appeal to those who enjoy a cozy, traditional atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offers excellent items such as delicious cheeses and Christophe Felder’s famous kougelhopf (which, in my opinion, is one of the best in Strasbourg!).

Origami Hotel – Good Value for the Money

📍 16 rue du Bataillon-de-Marche-24, 67200 Strasbourg

The Origami Hotel is located outside the city center, in the Cronenbourg district. It is a good choice for those who want to pay a little less than in the center of the city and still have quality services or those who want to get out of the tourist areas. It is also convenient if you come by car, as you will find a free parking lot 400m from the hotel (free parking lots are rare in Strasbourg). To get to the city center, a tramway will take you there in only 10 minutes from the Rotonde station located just a few steps away. A good value for money!

Etc Hotel in Strasbourg – Affordable and Great!

📍 7 rue de la Chaîne, 67000 Strasbourg

The Hôtel Etc in Strasbourg is a 2-star hotel located right in the city center, on the Grande Île. It’s a simple hotel but offers all the necessary amenities: the value for money is excellent. It’s located just a few minutes’ walk from the cathedral, Petite France, and Place Kléber. The decor is really nice, too. Breakfast is simple but quite substantial. For example, the jams served are the excellent Confitures du Climont, produced in Alsace and winners of several awards!

Le Chut Hotel – For a Romantic Getaway

📍 4 rue du Bain-aux-Plantes, 67000 Strasbourg

Here’s a spot that’s almost a bit of a hidden gem: the Hotel Le Chut is located in the heart of Petite France, but in a building set slightly back from the street. The charming rooms with exposed beams at the Chut Hotel offer an intimate setting that’s perfect for enjoying your visit to Strasbourg while staying in a quiet spot! The place is full of charm, and the restaurant is excellent. Be sure to have dinner on the hotel restaurant’s terrace, with a view of the river 🙂

The People Hostel – A Stylish Youth Hostel

📍 7 rue de la Krutenau, 67000 Strasbourg

As an added bonus, it has a magnificent terrace. You can book a bed in a dormitory, as well as double rooms or family rooms. It’s the perfect place to stay in a great setting at an affordable price!
